Fruit and Nut Yogurt Parfait


Ingredients:


1 cup plain Greek yogurt (or any yogurt of choice)


1/2 cup mixed berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries)


1 small apple or banana, sliced


2 tablespoons granola (optional for added crunch)


1 tablespoon chia seeds or flaxseeds


2 tablespoons mixed nuts (almonds, walnuts, or cashews)


1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional for sweetness)



Instructions:


1. Prepare the base: In a glass or bowl, spoon a layer of Greek yogurt.



2. Add fruits: Layer half of the mixed berries and sliced apple or banana on top of the yogurt.



3. Layer the nuts and seeds: Sprinkle half of the chia seeds and mixed nuts on top of the fruit layer.



4. Repeat the layers: Add another layer of yogurt, followed by the rest of the fruits, nuts, and seeds.



5. Add sweetness (optional): Drizzle a little honey or maple syrup for added sweetness.



6. Top with granola (optional): If you'd like a crunchy texture, sprinkle a tablespoon or two of granola on top.
